Julia and Agostina
May 17, 2006
Dear friends,
Hi! We are Julia and Agostina. We are students at ARICANA, in Rosario, in the southeast of Santa Fe, in Argentina.
Argentina is a beautiful country. Buenos Aires is the capital of Argentina. It’s a nice city, there are many museums, theaters and the Pink House.
Rosario is an important city, too. We have the Flag’s Memorial, where a lot of tourists go.
Other cities are Bariloche, in the south, Mendoza, which has a lot of vineyards. We have nice weather, a fun lifestyle and delicious food, like “asado”.
Ok! Tell us about your country. What is your lifestyle like?
Julia and Agostina

Hi, Júlia and Agostina.
I´m Carla from Brasilia. My country is as cool as yours!
I went to Buenos Aires just once when I was little, but I´d like to visit Argentina again.
Many tourists also come to my city because it is the capital of Brazil and its architecture is unique. It is a planned city and the buildings are very modern. The streets are wide and you don´t see crowds of people on the streets like in São Paulo. They say that Brasilia has one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. And I believe it is true! Even better if you can go to Pontão, an entertainment center by the lake Paranoá.
Life here in Brasilia is great! I love the fact that I was born and live here.
How about you? What do you do in your free time? Where do you go?
Do you know that we also have a dish called “assado”, which is roasted meat? Do you have any good recipes of your asado? I love to cook!
Beijos,
Carla

Hi there!
It´s nice getting to know more about you, girls. You know something that interested me? The “asado”! Mmmmmmm I´d give anything to try it! What is it like? Does anyone you know happen to know how to cook it? I have to admit I´m not an expert cook, but in case it´s not too difficult to cook, I´d appreciate if you could give us the recipe. How´s that??
Take care!
